Kathleen was my moms roomate and a member of our family. I am so priviledged to have been a part of her life. I sit here today so truly humbled by Kathleen’s unwavering trust that her life was in God’s hands no matter what her circumstances were. In our last face to face conversation, she sat on her bed with oxygen tubes attached and encouraged me. She never questioned the goodness of our God. I want to be like that. Her prayer was that God would be glorified in her life and death. I am a witness that her prayer was answered.
With love for Kathleen,
Glory
Our thanks and gratefulness go with our sister Kathleen.
Her courageous and faithful spirit revealed love unwavering, humbling us, as we saw Yeshua bring her and keep her in His shalom. We will miss her here on earth, but celebrate that she lives now in His perfect “One”
Glory, a perfect name/title— You summed up a life that was full of difficulties– BUT FOR GOD, WHO TOOK A WILLING HEART, AND MADE SOMETHING BEAUTIUFL OUT OF IT! PRAISE HIS MANY HOLY NAMES. FOR IMMERSING KATHLEEN’S LIFE WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT.
AND I NEVER EVEN SAW HER IN PERSON. LAVAYE —
—-NOW, I WANT TO SAY TO YOUR MOM–I AM assuming is the same room mate that Kathleen wrote about March 14, 2009 when she penned these words–” My room mate also a reader of God’s Table, sacrificed much to keep a roof over my head, food in the refrig. She is a Cardiac Nurse working 60 hours a week , since I can no longer work.——— and then more”——-
—- To that roommate, whose name could be Babs Coppedge, since she has the same zip and town in the Dallas Area, what a crown you will recieve in glory for all that you have done, and your daughter, too, I am sure from what she wrote above. ————–I am crying soft tears and have been since I read that Kathleen had joined that “Great Cloud of Witnesses”, but tears OF JOY FOR SUCH A LIFE LIVED OUT THROUGH JESUS THE SON OF GOD!. L.B.
I pray for peace for the family and friends of Kathleen and smiles for the memories you carry of her. I am in awe of the words written here about Kathleen and her heart for God. Glory, I want to live like that too. I join the celebration that Kathleen now lives with God.
I have been a friend in prayer although I never personally met Kathleen. I had the privilge of writing over the internet to her and praying the Scripture. My recent communication was only three days ago and I saw such courage in her letter to me to request prayer for her current condition. Now, there is no longer a need to concern myself for her care in prayer for she is with the ONE who has cared for her all along. I have prayed for her incredible roommate and the labor of love on Kathleen’s behalf. Kathleen is face to face with Jesus…we all long for this…in the meantime, may we walk worhty of the Lord and in His glory like Kathleen. We will see her in heaven. Praise and Glory and Honor are the Lord God Almighty. In Jesus name. Amen.
Kathleen’s testimony is quite compelling and touching. Like others, I knew of our sister only through postings on Today’s Word but …. we did know her in faith …. what strength and resolve.
We all know that real faith is revealed in tribulation …. Kathleen’s faith shines bright! 🙂
Praise ELOHIM Who keeps faith with those that sleep in the dust and is faithful to resurrect the dead!
