Lovely Tropical Flower: the Plumeria–most often the one used for Hawiian leis—I have had up to 15 plants, but of course they can not survive the cold here; somehow I have managed to keep three alive in the house. These three are about 8 feet tall going in all directions trying to reach the sun light. In the cold as we are now having, 10-12 degrees at night, and with a minimun of heat in that part of the house, they may or may not survive. But the ones that have survived in the house the past several years in our Central TX home, bloom about the same time in April. They smell so wonderful!— You can cut a stalk off of one the plants; put it in good potting medium, keep watered and sprayed with water, etc., and they will grow and flower after about three years. That is why I had so many for a period of time. —— Another one of God’s Great Works of Art! Life is so full of them!
