Do You See Me? Once More
Do you see me as I struggle to get to the Wailing Wall? Do you see me in my pain – and my determination to pray to my God? Do you even know I’m there as you hurry past?

Do you see me as I struggle to get to the Wailing Wall? Do you see me in my pain – and my determination to pray to my God? Do you even know I’m there as you hurry past?

I will confess as a follower of Jesus Christ that I have been too self concerned to see the hurting people around me, who God has placed in my life so that HE can meet their needs and be glorified. I am sad to say that the picture represents my family to me, especially my wife. I have been trying to fix her struggles and problems rather than meeting her needs. I pray that God will continue to open our eyes and hearts to allow all of us to see the hurt and struggle of those in need so Jesus can use his hands and feet to go to them and begin restoring them to who God created them to be and that we see them as YAWAH sees them.
I see you struggle as I do, the pain you feel I feel that pain to, I know you are there so don’t you worry, I will not pass you by you are more than my hurry. We will get there together.
Amen.
skip, your photo captures beautifully a quote by henri nouwen, “In solitude we become aware that our worth is not the same as our usefulness.” i believe we’re always seen by someone, by that one person who needs to see us and recieve god’s personal revelation through our seeming invisibility. who we are matters. thank-you for sharing this poignant image which encourages me to persevere. be blessed.
