A Significant and IMMEDIATE Request
I just received a phone call from Bessy, the woman who faithfully translated Today’s Word into Spanish for many years. She lives in Honduras. She told me that her husband has been kidnapped. No one has yet heard a ransom demand. He disappeared on Saturday while traveling on business from one city to another in Honduras.
Bessy’s only request – URGENTLY PRAY for Italo’s safe return. Do it now, please.

I have delayed Today’s Word for this day in order that you might take the time you would be reading to pray for Italo.
ABBA YHWH, we ask for the safe return of Italo, Bessy’s husband! ABBA, Your hand upon him, Your protection upon him, and Your Presence with him through the situation. No harm will come to him, as You are in control, ABBA! Thank You! Amein!!
Your assurance upon Bessy too, ABBA, that Italo will be brought back safely! Amein!

Father, we plead for Italo’s safe return. We ask for the comfort of your Spirit for Bessie and other family members and friends. May your awesome power rise up against the evildoers. Thank you for hearing the cries of your people for this couple.
Yahweh, King of the universe, please protect Italo from any and all harm, and return him safely to his loved ones quickly. Give comfort, strength, and shalom to him and his loved ones. May You be glorified by this situation! HalleluYah!

ABBA Father, because of your written word, according to Your instructions and as Calvary made this prayer possible, we ask in the Name that is above every Name, and intercede for the salvation and deliverance of Italo from the hands of these captors. Protect and provide for Him, LORD of heavens armies, and show Yourself strong on his behalf. I pray for the ones who kidnapped him as well that their hearts would be open to receive the good news of Calvary’s love. May your Name be glorified in all things and your perfect will be done. May it be pleasing unto You to hear and to answer our plea for the shalom of Italo and may the peace that passes all understanding be unto his dear wife and our dear sister during this time of crisis. This is our prayer, according to Your instructions, “ask and you will receive.” Because we are your children, we petition for the release and restoration of Italo, this captive brother. Set him free Father and let him be yet another who will testify to the goodness of our great God. Amen.
Hear our prayer, O Lord, for the safe return of Italo. Surround him with Your Spirit so the kidnappers are unable to do anything until He’s released. May Your glory in Him cause such a brilliance that they fall to their knees and ask, “What must we do to be saved”, as the Phillippian jailers did with Paul and Silas. Precious Father, NOTHING is too hard for You. We trust You. Stop these men from completing their plan. Give divine peace to Italo and Bessy right now. Use this as an opportunity for good and not evil because You love these dear people. En el Nombre de Jesus/Yeshua, Amen

Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing us to come into your presence to offer our praise and petitions.
Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.
Blessed be the name of His glorious Kingdom for ever and ever.
Heavenly Father, we beg you to not only protect Italo, but to return him quickly to his family.
We ask that you would give Bessy an abundance of strength and trust in you as she waits for your perfect plan to be completed.
May this entire trial bring honor and glory to you Oh Lord. May it bring shame to the kidnappers.
We ask these things today, Father, in the name of your precious son, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach

Earnestly tugging on the hem of His garments at 3:19 PM Southwestern United States
After reading the prayers of all of you–from the short one word: praying–to the longer written ones, I was so caught up in the power of what the Word says about prevailing prayer-yes, to persistent., troublesome prayer– Jeremiah 33:3– “I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not.” Other translations: –“show thee great and mighty & fortififed things,–another, great and reserved things–“.
And perhaps my favorite translation for this verse, is the Amplified Bible; “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recongnize, have knowledge of and under-stand.)”
Yahweh does bring marvelous things together, even a cyber group that lives around the world to pray for desperate needs for others. I dare say that Skip had no major thoughts of that happening when I first began about nine years ago, reading his beginning daily devotionals. ( I was so cluecless to computers that I printed almost all of his, truly not believing that they would still be there when I looked again.!)—We are truly a portion of His people for this time and season– hopefully our Lord Jesus will continue to enlarge His tent to include multiple people. LaVaye ( back on line after my computer was fried about two and half months ago with lightning–)
The Lord hears and knows; rest assured, italo shall be found…We shall all hear more news around the festival of Pentecost and before the full moon.
Praying Psalm 91 protection and deliverance over Bessy & Italo. To the glory of YHWH who is greater and stronger and higher than any other power. He alone is LORD!
