Yesterday, somebody asked the “discoverer” of this fragment if anyone had considered that it may have been part of a sermon given in the 4th century, with the speaker referring to his own wife, mother, etc. She said she had not even considered that. There is still much work to be done on the piece.
“There is still much work to be done on the piece.”
Hi Donna,
I understand, but I received the picture above
And the the news of his wife at the same time
So maybe one could interpret the Angel above
As the wife of Jesus in Heaven 🙂

The early Catholics had an imagination that surpassed reality and truth……….selah!

Skeptics trying to re-invent Jesus. again.
Those who believe Jesus was married prefer to also believe that He was not the sinless Messiah. Getting married and having children is not why God sent Jesus. Mark 10:45 tells us why Jesus came, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” There is no biblical reason for Jesus to marry. People simply do not want to believe that Jesus was God in the flesh (John 1:1, 14; 10:30) so, they sway along with every myth.
