Today I was in the Duomo in Parma, using a long telephoto to get pictures of the details in the ceiling. Since the Duomo is perhaps 60 feet from floor to ceiling, and it’s always dark, I knew I would find something there that you wouldn’t usually see. Low and behold, here are two examples….
OK! Life is really chaotic right now. We need something calming. If I had the time, I would go back to this place and just listen to the wind moving through the deep. It would be enough for the day.
As I get ready to fly back to the USA, I remember what a great experience it was to see some of the creation in the wild. Maybe next time you will come with me.
